Kindergarten Swimming

Sometimes working at home has its benefits. Being able to volunteer at my daughter Eliza’s school is definitely one of them. I signed up to help with a two week stint where the class took swimming lessons. They were having a hard time getting dads to volunteer so I went. Eliza seems to be doing well in the water. Christmas

We had a nice, fairly quiet Christmas season this year. In early December, I took the kids to see Santa at the Northland mall. Alex didn’t really love it, but Eliza thought it was pretty cool. A few days before Christmas, Eliza helped me wrap the presents for Mommy. She even practiced her printing and addressed a few of the presents herself. Guatemala

Guatemala

I know it is where I went on my mission, and guys not being able to get over their missions is annoying to everyone else. But for the past two years or so I have been feeling a crazy strange pull to reacquaint myself with the country of Guatemala. A few visits is probably all it will ever be, but we took the whole family, and my mom and sister with us this fall.
